1. Location: Southpoint is located in southwest Durham. It is close to I40, the RTP, to Downtown Durham and to Chapel Hill. This is a location that makes sense for commuters.
2. Families: There are many subdivisions that first-time homeowners and families enjoy in this area. Woodcroft, Woodlake and Hope Valley Farms are three of the most popular neighborhoods in this area. Many of these neighborhoods offer walking trails within the neighborhood, community social groups and you can even find doctors within walking distance.
3. Things to do: You don’t have to go far to find something fun to do.
-Shopping: Southpoint Mall, Sutton Station, Renaissance Center, Homestead Shopping Center, Southpoint Crossing, Hope Valley Commons, Woodcroft Shopping Center.
-Local Parks: Garret Road, Pineywoods, Solite, Cook Road Park.
-The American Tobacco Trail: Enjoy this friendly trail while, walking, running, biking or even roller skating. The trail covers 22+ miles throughout Durham, Chatham and Wake counties.
-Restaurants & Bars: There are many local and national establishments in this area of Durham. A few local favorites include: Chubby’s Tacos, Rise, Dulce Cafe and Growler Grlz.
